"I asked Rob if he could weld the segments of two cells I built. These cells support the 12" and 16" mirrors of my home made dobsonian telescopes. The cells are made of stainless steel. To maintain the correct shape, I asked Rob to tack-weld the segments within the wood frame I made. Afterwards, the cell was extracted from the frame and Rob completed the welding. Rob and I met in the weekend and in my opinion he did a very solid work. I am please with the result. I attach the 16" mirror cell (before / after the welding and assembled; photos 1-4) and the 12" mirror cell (before / after the welding - this is not fully assembled yet; photos 5-7)."
