Ivett & Reed Ltd

"Any company can make mistakes. It is how those mistakes are dealt with that marks out a company as being special. We recently had a gravestone re-erected after an additional name was added. We were not happy with a detail of how the re-erection had been done. We pointed this out to Ivett & Reed. We received an immediate apology and the issue was addressed within days. That sort of customer service gives you great confidence in dealing with Ivett & Reed - in the unlikely event that anything should not be to your satisfaction, they will deal with it."

"Ivett & Reed helped me to create a slate hearth to match a beautiful reclaimed cast iron fireplace I’d found and then install both the hearth and fireplace as part of the restoration of my Victorian terrace in Cambridge. From quote, to choosing the stone, to the guys who came to install, Ivett & Reed were outstanding - incredibly professional, polite, helpful and the work was completed to an extremely high standard. Anna was helpful throughout the whole process to organise and arrange everything. On installation day, the team took a lot of care to make sure the room was protected and dust sheeted. The final result (pre decorating) looks beautiful!"

"I dealt with this firm for the first time just before Christmas. I received prompt and helpful advice and a commitment to deal with my request ( a splashback) immediately after the holiday period. I was contacted promptly and a fitter came to measure. He turned up when he said he would and was a pleasure to do business with. When I’d made my material decisions the fitting was set up for very shortly afterwards. When it became apparent that I would also need an electrician, this was sorted by Ivett and Reed, leaving me confident that I didn’t need to coordinate different companies. Fitting day was prompt and efficient and the chaps doing the fitting were polite and helpful and very clean workers. I’m very pleased with the results. Also a shoutout to the various people I dealt with in the office both in person and on the phone/ by email. Could not have wished for better customer service. Happy to recommend."

"I’m a designer and I wanted to build a “Giant Island” kitchen. I needed a very large piece of stone and some knowledge on how to design it and found Ivett and Reed, a really fantastic and professional organisation. Their staff helped me understand all the issues and came up with some great solutions, far exceeding my expectations. They helped me save money by using every last piece of stone and their fitters took great pride in their work. I can’t rate them highly enough."

"Ivett & Reed provided an excellent service from start to finish. Their team were professional, knowledgeable and showed attention to detail at every stage resulting in worktops we are delighted with. Would definitely recommend and use again, in fact I wouldn’t go anywhere else."
