HG Decorating Ltd

"Dom Hume-Marasca and the HG Decorating team did an outstanding job transforming our Cambridge apartment. They worked during a complex renovation, alongside numerous other trades and with an unusually demanding level of detail—including shadow gaps, concealed curtain tracks, trickle vents, bespoke doors and newly plastered surfaces. Dom was a pleasure to work with. He took time to understand our detailed brief, remained flexible as the programme changed and patiently coordinated the work in stages. We particularly valued his honesty and accountability: when an issue arose, he immediately took responsibility and focused on putting it right. Nico made an excellent start, carefully mist-coating, filling and applying the initial coats throughout the living areas and bedrooms. After Nico’s unfortunate accident, Aldo stepped in and was exceptional. He completed a remarkable amount of detailed work in a very short time and returned for the final coats, ceilings, shadow gaps and finishing touches. Finally, Stefan came over to practise his wallpaper wizardry. The entire team showed skill, flexibility and care, and the finished apartment looks beautiful. We are extremely grateful to Dom, Nico, Aldo and Stefan, and recommend HG Decorating without hesitation."

"Dom's team have totally transformed my dining room. I had expected it to need lining because of the terrible state of the walls. This was not necessary due to the excellent skill shown in filling and sanding the uneven surface and cracks. Paintwork also was fantastic. Thanks Stefan and Nathan, top work."

"Highly recommend HG Decorating. Dom provides a friendly and professional service. The work they completed was very high quality; Stefan did a fantastic job with the wallpapering. I will come back to use this company in future."

"Dom and his team are exceptional. They're the perfect folks to have working in your home - punctual, tidy, reliable, and just entirely hassle free. They do amazing work taking time to fully prep the walls before painting and it really shows in the final result. Can't recommend them highly enough."

"HG decorating have transformed our house into a beautiful living space for our family. The decorators are so pleasant to have around and their work is second to none. Dom looks at everything personally and makes sure that you are completely happy with everything before signing off on a job. The paint used is of high quality and lasts well. They arrive on time and keep you informed every step of the way. I can’t recommend them highly enough. They work together well and they have all been so professional and tidy- Paul, Brandon, Polly, Nico, Tyler and their lovely apprentice Molly. I think that their prices are good value for money- they use high quality materials and the finish looks expensive and classy."
